The dates that were listed on the last post...May 1-3, May 8, and May 9-22...are confirmed. Jill's parents will be staying at the pond on those dates.
REMEMBER: The pond is a different place than it was before. (Not that I'm making light of our parents home in any way, or saying there was something wrong with it.) It's just that it is more of a great vacation spot now. There are no piles of medicines, piles of tools, piles of endless magazines sitting around! ;-) We are making small but nice improvements all the time.
The latest update we have made is the beds. The upstairs room now has a good double bed replacing the old "spring" one, and the downstairs has a good queen bed. The downstairs bedroom also still has the single bed and couch. Dawn and Jimmy donated their older couch out in the main living area. It also folds out into a decent queen size bed.
We have some new rugs on the floors, and are planning to replace the old gas stove with an electric. So, things are coming along and making it a nicer, more convenient place to stay.
