Yes, you heard right folks. Gene (Uncle Pete) actually has all the wood already done for this coming year. Of course you all must realize that he does most of that all on his own anyway. The wood bee is more of an opportunity for the rest of us to get in on the tail end of the process, and of course get together for corn chowder, chili, and endless cookies!
As an alternative I thought possibly a Cleaning Bee day might be good. Not that we'll make it a yearly thing necessarily. The place could just use a good going over, plus there is plenty of outside clean up to do, like eaves, picking up porches, boats, and outdoor furniture, etc.
I have an idea of November 7th or 14th. But I am open to suggestions. Would people come out for it? And what Saturday through the fall would work for you? Of course please check with any pertinent children as well who might want to take part. And...well...you know...it WOULD be an excuse to get together for corn chowder, chili, and endless cookies!
(Just in case anyone is wondering...you have to actually respond in order for me to know what you're thinking. I'm just saying'... ;-)
The 7th might be better weather wise, but who knows. We'll try to make it. SH
